Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a long-established manufacturing business in Redruth for an interim Accounts Assistant. This part-time role is 2–3 days per week with hours to be negotiated.

Based at the company headquarters with free staff parking, you will handle day-to-day transactional processing in SAGE, bank reconciliations and supplier accounts, and support the wider finance team.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of experience in a similar environment, part‑time or permanent, or qualified by experience.
• Solid understanding of SAGE based systems.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day transactional processing using SAGE.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Inputting and amending supplier accounts.
• Assist with all aspects of accounts receivable.
• Month end journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Support the wider finance team.
• Cover the work of the wider finance team where required.
