Job summary

Heart of Worcestershire College is seeking a Personal Tutor for the Worcester campus. The role is based on 14.8 hours per week across 52 weeks, with a starting salary dependent on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will join the Access to HE department, supporting learners, delivering tutorials, and contributing to a welcoming, inclusive college culture. Travel to other campuses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operation of construction workshops.
• Maintain, clean, and prepare workshop equipment and resources.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed, including risk assessments and COSHH.
• Assist teaching staff with practical demonstrations and workshop activities.
• Supervise and deliver pre-planned practical sessions when required.
• Order materials and maintain stock control.
• Set up and store workshop equipment and materials.
