Job summary

CDH Recruitment Limited is seeking a Part Time 7.5 tonne driver to join our team, serving client deliveries on a flexible schedule from East Sussex. This ongoing temporary role requires early starts and a drive to meet customer expectations.

You will be handling loading, securing loads, inspections, and on-time deliveries while maintaining professional conduct and clear communication with dispatch. A valid 7.5t licence, Digi tachograph, CPC, and clean licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a 7.5 tonne licence, with valid Digi tacho and CPC card.
• Must have commercial driving experience.
• We cannot accept drivers that have more than 6 points on their licence and have been convicted of a DD, DR, INT endorsement.
• Must have own transport

• Packing, loading, securing loads and unloading deliveries.
• Before setting off you must carry out an inspection of the vehicle and record all defects.
• Delivering goods to customers on designated routes
• Maintaining regular communication with route dispatchers, if there are road and location issues
• Must be able to deal with client’s customers in a professional manner
• When making a delivery, always be courteous and polite.
• Review deliveries with recipients to ensure they are accurate
• Obtaining delivery confirmations from customers
• Must be able to record all deliveries and report any issues to client

Drivers must have a ‘can-do’ attitude at all times.
