Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Part Qualified Accountant in Caerphilly. You will work closely with the Finance Director and support day-to-day financial operations across management accounting, reporting, budgeting, and process improvements.

The role covers month-end close, purchase and sales ledgers, stock management, forecasting, and audits. You will need strong Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified status in a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, AAT).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

This opportunity is with a company in the retail industry based in Caerphilly.

Description

Working closely with the Finance Director, you will gain exposure to all aspects of the finance function and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This hands-on position offers involvement in management accounting, financial reporting, purchasing, sales ledger, credit control, stock management, forecasting, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives.
