Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Commercial Business Development Manager – Part Loads to drive growth of UK and Nordic Part Load and Groupage business, with a focus on UK export traffic. You will identify new customers, expand relationships and position DFDS as a preferred logistics partner for part load, groupage and consolidated freight solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales, freight forwarding, logistics.
• Commercial mindset with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of Part Load, Groupage or consolidated freight solutions desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy for Part Load and Groupage services.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across the UK market.
• Promote consolidation and groupage solutions to customers.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and procurement teams.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and pricing recommendations.
• Manage forecasts, pipeline activity and CRM reporting.
• Collaborate with operations and account management to maximise customer value.
