The role includes preparing architectural documentation and planning applications, alongside site visits and coordination with builders. Candidates should have RIBA Part 2 or equivalent and experience in Revit and AutoCAD. A creative and detail-oriented approach is essential, along with proficiency in design tools like Photoshop and SketchUp.
Architectural assistant for small busy architect office in Kentish Town North London. Experience in Revit and Autocad preferred, as well as knowledge of construction architectural detailing, drafting, and experience within architectural practice of small to medium scale residential projects. Looking for a talented creative assistant architect to help deliver our projects to a very high standard.
Duties may include architectural documentation, planning applications, design and access statements, marketing brochures, feasibility studies, design and detailing, interior design concepts, measured surveys, building regulations and tender information, project administration and coordination, site visits and builder liaison, liaison with planning authorities suppliers, contractors, tender process, on a range of projects including residential and extensions refurbishment and development projects.
General architectural assistant / technician experience, and Riba Part 2 or equivalent qualifications with Part 1 experience in UK practice preferred. Attention to detail, presentation, written and communication skills, technical and detail skills as well as a enthusiastic and proactive attitude. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, Indesign and in preparing Design and Access statements, planning applications and detailing skills, hand drawings and sketching also useful. Own car and driving license, construction and site phase experience useful but not essential.
Responsibility and architectural experience through all phases available for successful candidates.
