Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a Part II Architectural Assistant in Birmingham (Jewellery Quarter) to support design and technical delivery across RIBA Stages 2–6. You will produce drawings and models using Revit and work with senior architects on a range of sectors including healthcare, commercial, industrial, education and residential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture required.
• Experience in a UK architectural practice preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows.
• Understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work and UK Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and technical delivery across RIBA Stages 2–6.
• Produce architectural drawings and models using Revit.
• Contribute to planning and detailed technical information.
• Collaborate with senior architects and consultants on coordinated design solutions.
• Gain experience on projects from £1m to £30m+.
• Ensure designs comply with UK Building Regulations and standards.
• Attend project meetings and contribute to design development.
• Develop technical knowledge toward Part III.

Part II Architectural Assistant Job Overview

• Assist with the design and technical delivery of projects across RIBA Stages 2-6

Part II Architectural Assistant Requirements

• Masters in Architecture
• Previous experience within a UK architectural practice
• Good working knowledge of Revit
• Strong design and technical ability with a good understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work
• Some experience across multiple RIBA Stages advantageous
• Interest or experience within Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, Education or Residential sectors advantageous
• Understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction processes
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proactive, motivated and keen to develop professionally
• Portfolio demonstrating strong design and technical capabilities
• Live within a commutable distance of Birmingham (Jewellery Quarter)
