Job summary

Recruit Build Limited is seeking an experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join its in-house Architectural Design Team near Leeds. The role blends design flair with technical detailing and live project experience within a commercial environment.

You will work across the full development process, from feasibility through planning, technical design and construction delivery, leveraging strong 3D visualisation and BIM capabilities.

Qualifications

• Part 2 architectural qualification.
• At least four years' practical architectural experience.
• Meaningful live-project experience in a commercial environment.
• Strong 3D visualisation skills.
• Good knowledge of Building Regulations and construction technology.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist across the full development process from feasibility to construction delivery.
• Produce initial scheme layouts and assess how sites could be developed.
• Develop concept and planning designs for approval.
• Produce high-quality 3D architectural visualisations and presentation material.
• Prepare planning applications and drawing packages.
• Produce detailed technical and construction drawings and develop buildable details.
• Work in Revit and develop BIM information.
• Coordinate with internal development, technical and construction teams.
• Support projects through design and construction stages.
