Job summary

Birmingham City Council is seeking an experienced Business and Quality Manager to drive financial performance, quality assurance and operational systems for the Parks and Greenspaces Development Team.

You will lead the management of the trading account, oversee ISO9001:2015 compliance, and implement business improvements that support sustainable growth and service quality across Birmingham's parks and environmental projects.

Qualifications

• Background in financial management within fee-earning, project-based environments.
• Experience managing trading accounts and professional fee charging.
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 quality management systems.
• Experience with financial systems such as Oracle.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial performance and trading accounts for the Parks and Greenspaces team.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies across business systems.
• Support strategic planning and ensure ISO9001:2015 compliance.
