Job summary

Hull City Council is recruiting three full-time Civil Enforcement Officers to enforce parking restrictions and issue penalty charge notices. You will join a frontline, uniformed team dedicated to fair enforcement and delivering excellent customer service.

Training is provided in-house by an experienced team; after training you will work a 37-hour week on a five-week rolling rota, including evenings and weekends, with DBS checks if required.

Qualifications

• Experience in parking enforcement is an advantage, training provided.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a 37-hour, 5x9-hour shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Undertake proactive inspections relating to parking, environmental issues, highways and anti-social behaviour.
• Issue Penalty Charge Notices to contraventions and record evidence.
• Provide information and guidance to members of the public.
• Work in line with health and safety policies and council procedures.
