Job summary

Surrey Heath Borough Council is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Officer to join the car parking team. You will work from the Main Square car park office, handling enquiries by phone, intercom or face to face, and help keep our multi-storey and surface car parks running smoothly.

The role requires a current driving licence and knowledge of parking legislation; Civil Enforcement Officer Level 2 or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and public-facing skills.
• Self-confident and presentable; driving licence required.
• Experience with parking legislation and enforcement is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct customer care from the Main Square car park office by phone, intercom or face to face.
• Enforce parking regulations across the Borough and support parking operations.
• Assist with ICT systems and pay stations training and usage guidance for the public.
