Job summary

Kirklees Council is seeking Civil Enforcement Officers to patrol car parks and streets across the district, ensuring parking regulations are followed and helping the public with queries. You will be the public face of Parking Services, upholding fair and consistent enforcement.

We offer training, a 6-week induction, rotating shifts five days out of seven, and an allowance for shift work. A valid UK driving licence and a uniform are provided; opportunities to collaborate with police and partner

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly with the public and resolve queries.
• Calm and fair approach when enforcing parking regulations.

Responsibilities

• patrol Kirklees District to ensure parking regulations are followed.
• Issue Penalty Charge Notices where appropriate and document contraventions.
• Assist members of the public with parking-related queries and complaints.
• Work as part of Parking Services and liaise with the police or partner agencies when required.
