Job summary

Taskmaster Resources Ltd in Wansford is seeking a Park Maintenance Operative to perform general park maintenance, repairs, grounds keeping, and equipment upkeep across the site. You will handle drain/groundwork repairs, cleaning lodges and decking, hot tub cleaning and water testing, and you will interact with customers on site or by phone, requiring good communication and professionalism.

Working 5 days out of 7, 8am–5pm with on-call weekends; pay is £14.50 per hour plus an on-call night bonus

Responsibilities

Park Maintenance Operative

Taskmaster are currently looking to recruit for a Park Maintenance Operative for one of our client’s based in Wansford.

Duties:

• General Park maintenance.
• Carry out repairs and restructure drains/groundwork/buildings (some basic electrical maintenance).
• Carry out repairs to equipment in accommodation units in line with the job requests to the agreed operating standards.
• Distribute deliveries from a central point to the relevant department.
• Collection of rubbish and litter/bins, depositing it in the nearest refuse compound, including litter picking the park as and when required.
• Co-operate with external Contractors when required to ensure smooth running of the park.
• Grass cutting and General Grounds maintenance including planting and weeding.
• Cleaning the outside of lodges and decking.
• Hot tub cleaning
• Hot tub water testing.
• Talking to the customer in person or over the phone.

Knowledge/Educational Requirements:

• Have experience and a good understanding of maintenance duties.
• Have a strong understanding of landscaping and gardening work.
• Be able to provide excellent face-to-face and over-the-phone customer service.

Hours:

5 days out of 7, 8am to 5pm plus overtime. There is an On Call Rota of 1 in 5 weekends and one weekend on call as backup.

Pay rates:

£14.50ph with a on-call one off payment for the night of £30, On-call rate: £17ph.
