Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking a Maintenance Operative to upkeep and repair holiday park facilities. You will perform plumbing, carpentry, electrical tasks, and general DIY, while ensuring safe, clean, and inviting outdoor spaces for guests and staff.

You will inspect facilities, respond to maintenance requests, keep detailed records, and work with health and safety standards. Gardening tasks and weekend availability are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general maintenance.
• Experience in plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs is a plus.
• Experience using hand tools and maintaining records is preferred.
• Understanding health and safety regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance across the holiday park, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general DIY tasks.
• Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure safe operation.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff to maintain service quality.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs in line with company policies.
• Ensure all maintenance complies with health and safety regulations.
• Undertake gardening and landscaping tasks to keep outdoor areas well-presented.
• Work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, and support colleagues as needed.
