Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking a Maintenance Operative to carry out general upkeep and repairs across the holiday park. You will perform plumbing, carpentry, electrical tasks, and gardening, ensuring a safe, clean, and inviting environment for guests and staff.

The role requires practical DIY skills, familiarity with tools, and a commitment to health and safety. Flexibility to work weekends/holidays and DBS disclosure checks are part of the responsibilities; you’ll maintain records and support the

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance including plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs.
• Practical DIY skills with hand tools and gardening know-how.
• Understanding health and safety regulations and compliance in maintenance work.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and keep maintenance records.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays as required by the park.
• DBS check is part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks across the holiday park with plumbing, carpentry and electrical work.
• Regularly inspect facilities and equipment for safe, operational conditions.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs in line with policies.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Undertake gardening and landscaping to keep outdoor areas presentable.
