Job summary

Park Holidays UK is seeking a Maintenance Operative to keep the holiday park facilities well-maintained and safe for guests and staff. You will perform repairs across plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general DIY tasks, inspect facilities for issues, and respond to maintenance requests promptly.

Gardening tasks are also part of the role. The role requires adherence to health and safety regulations, accurate record-keeping, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance, including basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
• Practical DIY skills and ability to use hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and how to apply them on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks across the holiday park, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general DIY duties.
• Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address issues, ensuring safe and operational condition.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff to maintain high service standards.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with health and safety regulations, creating a safe environment.
• Undertake gardening and landscaping tasks to keep outdoor areas presentable.
