Job summary

Manchester Diocesan Board of Finance is seeking talented individuals to join the Parish Renewal Team in the Diocese of Manchester. You will influence parish development, engage clergy and lay leaders, and help deliver growth and church health across seven deaneries.

The role emphasises missional accompaniment, vision development, and building new worshipping communities with strong relationship-building and planning skills. Closing Date: 12 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience leading across different teams, contexts or traditions.
• Ability to engage with data, planning and reporting processes.
• Strong relationship-building and communication with clergy and lay leaders.
• Motivated and well-organised with a pastoral focus.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Parish Renewal Team across seven deaneries, aligning missional accompaniment with clear vision.
• Catalyse new and renewed expressions of church by enabling new worshipping communities.
• Deliver the Parish Renewal strategy through programme processes and learning.
