A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced Midwife to work within our Parent Education Team at Royal London Hospital. We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated individuals who provide a wide range of high-quality daytime, evening and weekend antenatal classes and workshops to service users and their birth partners. The classes are fun and interactive and are designed to deliver current evidence-based information to our expectant parents.
Raising their resilience and giving them the tools for informed decision making regarding their birth and parenting choices. We empower service users to achieve a positive experience and equip birth partners with confidence to provide support throughout birth and beyond into early parenthood.
If you are dynamic, charismatic, energetic and passionate about educating and empowering expectant parents, then this post is for you! You will have the opportunity to learn and develop new skills in creative communication and facilitating antenatal classes to a high standard.
We understand and value that each of our midwives are individuals. With individual needs, motivation and aspiration we are committed in supporting you. By working in our Parent Education Team, you will be supported by the Parent Education Lead Midwife, Matron and multidisciplinary team. Alongside this, you will also have support from our Professional Midwifery Advocates, through Restorative Clinical Supervision, group and 1:1 sessions.
