Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, part of Royal Mail Group, is hiring for a Warehouse Operative at our Liverpool depot (L36 6BP). This permanent role starts at £25,201 per year with potential to rise to £27,561 after six months and to as much as £30,000 with overtime; 16 hours per week with overtime opportunities, mainly Monday and Tuesday, 00:00-08:00.

You’ll unload and load parcels, sort them for the correct delivery routes, and help prepare trailers for drivers, delivering a reliable, friendly service

Qualifications

• Previous experience handling parcels in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Ability to lift and move parcels up to 30 kg with care.
• Fluent communication and reliable, customer‑facing service.

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• o Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)
