Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is recruiting for a delivery and parcel handling role based in Cambridge. You will sort parcels, plan efficient routes and perform essential vehicle safety checks, ensuring timely deliveries to homes and businesses.

A friendly, dependable service is expected, whether for birthday gifts or important business mail. The role offers a permanent contract with 38 hours per week, overtime opportunities, and weekend premiums.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable, and customer focused.
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player.
• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation.

Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Tuesday-Saturday (08:00-15:36)

Why this role pays off

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)
