Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide, part of Royal Mail Group, is hiring for a permanent driver role in Cambridge. The position involves sorting parcels, planning routes, and delivering to homes and businesses. Typical hours are 38 per week with overtime, and a weekend schedule may apply.

You will need a full UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) with up to 6 points, and be able to lift parcels up to 30kg. Excellent benefits include pension, holiday allowance, medical cover, and uniform/training.

Job description

Contract: Permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Tuesday-Saturday (08:00-15:36)
Location: Parcelforce Worldwide, Coral Park Industrial Estate, Cambridge, CB1 3EZ

Why this role pays off:

Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
Paid weekday and weekend overtime
Additional Allowances:

• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

Plus:
