Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide in London North West, Acton is hiring for a permanent delivery driver. You will sort parcels, plan routes and perform safety checks to ensure timely deliveries to homes and businesses.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence (Cat B) with clean record, willingness to work Monday to Friday 08:00 - 15:36, and overtime opportunities. Excellent benefits are on offer including pension and health cover.

• Valid full manual UK driving licence (Cat B) with no more than 6 points.
• Valid full manual UK driving licence (Cat C1 up to 7.5 tonnes) with no more than 6 points and DCQC accreditation.

Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 15:36.

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime

• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes
• Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks
• Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses
• Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail

What We’re Looking For

• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• A full manual UK driving licence (Cat C1 up to 7.5tonnes) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points and DCQC accreditation (7.5t delete if not applicable)
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
