Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide Ipswich is seeking a delivery operative to sort parcels, plan efficient routes, and deliver items to homes and businesses from Ipswich’s Ransomes Europark. You will perform vehicle safety checks, maintain punctual, friendly service, and uphold standards across the operation.

The role requires a full UK driving licence (Cat B), the ability to lift up to 30 kg, and a stable, long-term commitment. Overtime and weekend premiums may apply.

Hours: 38 hours per week, opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance: Monday, Wednesday to Saturday, 8:30am - 4pm

Location: ParcelForce Worldwide Ipswich, Ransomes Europark, Ipswich, IP3 9SL

Pay and Benefits

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour)
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year (£13.94 per hour)
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)
