Parcelforce Worldwide, part of Royal Mail Group, is seeking a delivery assistant in Norwich. You will sort parcels, plan routes and carry out vehicle safety checks.

The role involves collecting and delivering to homes and businesses, ensuring a friendly, dependable service for all customers. Working 28 hours per week with overtime possibilities, you will join a growing team at Parcel Force Worldwide in Norwich (NR2 4HJ).

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to current address.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.
• Friendly, dependable, and customer focused.
• Comfortable working independently but also a great team player.
• Satisfy stable, long-term role in a growing organisation.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 28 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Tuesday - Saturday, 2pm - 7pm.

Location: Parcel Force Worldwide, Wingate Way, Norwich, NR2 4HJ

Salary and Benefits

Salary

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year (£12.71 per hour)
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year (£13.94 per hour)
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, based on a 38 hour week & overtime
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime

Additional Allowances

• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)
