Job summary

Royal Mail Group requires a Parcel Delivery Driver for the Lymington area. The role involves multi‑drop deliveries during the afternoon/evening, with a fixed term contract of 6 months and 30 hours per week across Mon–Sun, including weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parcels across the assigned area on a daily basis.

• Interact with customers professionally as a Royal Mail ambassador.
• Work Saturday and Sunday as part of the local rota.

Job type: Fixed Term contract (6 months)

Hours: 30.00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 12:00 and 18:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan.

A bit about you

Please note:

For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
