Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Patchway is seeking a Parcel Delivery Driver on a fixed-term contract for 9 months. You will deliver parcels across your assigned area, prep your van, and use route-planning technology to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role offers a guaranteed hourly rate of £13.68, 22.5 days holiday, uniform, pension, and development opportunities. You must have a full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points and be available for weekend work.

Job type: Fixed Term contract 9 months

Hours: 28:00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working Monday - Saturday between 14:30-20:00 and Sundays 11:00-18:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
