Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Parcel Delivery Driver at Bolton Delivery Office on a fixed-term contract for 6 months. You will work 30 hours per week over five days, with afternoon/evening shifts and weekend Saturdays/Sundays as part of a local rota. Prep your van, plan routes, and deliver parcels while representing Royal Mail with pride.

The role emphasises customer service, punctuality, and the ability to work independently in a busy delivery environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.

Hours: 30.00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 14:00 and 20:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
