Job summary

Reed is seeking a Head of Paraplanning to lead and develop a paraplanning team within a growing wealth management firm. The role blends hands-on paraplanning with leadership responsibilities, collaborating with Financial Planners and senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality client service.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (35-hour week), with hybrid working. Ideal candidates will have strong pensions/investments knowledge and demonstrable management experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' paraplanning experience.
• Level 4 Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and financial services regulation.
• Excellent report-writing ability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead paraplanning activities and team development.
• Analyse client circumstances and prepare suitability documents.
• Review tax positions and investment considerations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
• Manage workflows and capacity planning.
• Contribute to strategic planning with senior leaders.
• Maintain high standards of client service and accuracy.
