Job summary

Quilter Cheviot is seeking a paraplanner to join our regional teams in Birmingham, Leeds, Carlisle or Exeter. You will provide in-depth reports and analysis to Advisers to enable client recommendations, liaise to determine the most appropriate solutions, and present the findings clearly and compliantly within FCA regulations.

The role requires a CII QCF Level 4 Diploma (or near to achieving), excellent report-writing and communication skills, and proficiency with Defaqto Engage, Analytics and

Qualifications

• Previous paraplanning experience or equivalent and working towards/holding CII QCF Level 4 Diploma.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Analytically minded with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of Financial Services providers and platforms; familiarity with Defaqto Engage, Analytics and X-Plan desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth reports and analysis to Advisers for client recommendations.
• Liaise with Advisers to determine the most appropriate recommendations.
• Determine the best way to present reports with all necessary information.
• Ensure work is completed within timescales and to Quilter Cheviot standards.
• Stay up to date with competency requirements and FCA guidelines; ensure fair treatment of customers.
