Job summary

Progeny in the United Kingdom is seeking a Paraplanner to join the Paraplanning team, assisting in delivering bespoke financial planning solutions and producing compliant, high-quality suitability letters and reports.

You will work closely with Financial Planners, Client Executives and support meetings, attend the office at least three days a week, and develop your technical knowledge while maintaining client records to a high standard.

Qualifications

• 2+ years paraplanning experience and a Certificate in Financial Services.
• RO2-RO6 qualifications required.
• Strong technical knowledge of financial products and FCA principles.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; able to produce clear client documentation.
• Organised, proactive and able to meet KPIs and SLAs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Research and analysis to identify suitable solutions; perform cashflow modelling.
• Prepare suitability letters and reports for annual reviews and new business, including tax calculations.
• Liaise with providers to obtain information about investments.
• Determine client objectives, risk attitude and preference; maintain compliance throughout the journey.
• Prepare client files for review meetings and keep them compliant.
• Follow FCA rules and procedures with honesty and integrity.
• Share knowledge with Senior Client Executives and assist with complex matters; perform peer reviews.
• Commit to CPD and maintain product and technical knowledge.
