Job summary

Rayment recruitment is partnering with an established Independent Financial Planning firm in Tonbridge to recruit an experienced Paraplanner. You will work alongside Financial Advisers, delivering technical research, analysis and report writing for a range of client needs.

You will conduct detailed research, prepare compliant reports and support advisers with complex cases, with a view to progressing into a Senior Paraplanner role within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA practice.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning is required.
• Experience supporting high-net-worth clients, especially near retirement.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, estate planning and protection.

An established, highly respected Independent Financial Planning firm with over 35 years of success is looking to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join its friendly and professional team based in the Tonbridge area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a career Paraplanner who enjoys technical financial planning, working on complex cases and wants to progress into a Senior Paraplanner position within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

Working closely with experienced Financial Advisers, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial planning advice by providing technical research, analysis and report writing across a broad range of client needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Paraplanner within an Independent Financial Advice (IFA) practice.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
• Experience supporting high-net-worth clients, particularly those approaching or in retirement.
• Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, estate planning and protection.
• Experience using platforms such as Transact, Aberdeen, Quilter or similar.
• Experience using cashflow modelling software.
• Excellent report writing, analytical and technical research skills.
• A proactive approach with exceptional attention to detail.
• The confidence to challenge constructively to help deliver the best outcomes for clients.
• Ambition to achieve Chartered status and develop into a Senior Paraplanner.
