IDEX Consulting Ltd. in Solihull is seeking a Paraplanner to support experienced Financial Planners with complex client needs.

The role covers pensions, investments, retirement planning, trusts and inheritance tax work, and emphasizes technical analysis and high-quality reporting. You will prepare suitability reports, conduct research, and help deliver compliant financial plans for demanding clients, in a collaborative, growth‑minded environment that values professional development and client

Qualifications

• Paraplanner with IFA or Wealth Management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments.
• Experience supporting more complex client cases.
• Excellent report writing and research skills.
• Diploma qualified or working towards Level 4 (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed suitability reports and recommendations.
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection.
• Support complex pension and retirement planning cases.
• Assist with inheritance tax and estate planning work.
• Produce cashflow modelling and financial planning analysis.
• Work closely with Financial Planners to deliver excellent client outcomes.
• Ensure work is completed in line with FCA requirements.

You’ll work alongside experienced Financial Planners, supporting a wide range of clients with complex financial planning needs. The role offers plenty of variety, covering pensions, investments, retirement planning, trusts and inheritance tax planning, making it ideal for someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning.

The Role

• Prepare detailed suitability reports and recommendations
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection
• Support complex pension and retirement planning cases
• Assist with inheritance tax and estate planning work
• Produce cashflow modelling and financial planning analysis
• Work closely with Financial Planners to deliver excellent client outcomes
• Ensure work is completed in line with FCA requirements

About You

• Experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management firm
• Strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments
• Experience supporting more complex client cases
• Excellent report writing and research skills
• Diploma qualified or working towards Level 4 (preferred)
