Job summary

Adecco are pleased to recruit a Paralegal to work within the Devon & Cornwall Police Force in Exeter. The role is temporary with a hybrid working pattern and 35 hours per week, paying £14.10 per hour. You will join the Joint Legal Services Department to support Devon and Cornwall and Dorset Police.

As a Paralegal, you will report to the Legal Services Practice Manager and work in one of three teams: Litigation, Operations, or Vulnerability, performing diverse tasks to support legal proceedings.

Qualifications

• Proven administrative experience in a legal setting.
• Strong command of English grammar and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to navigate legal databases and systems.
• Enthusiastic team player ready to manage a diverse caseload.

Responsibilities

• Support litigation, operations, or vulnerability teams in handling matters.
• Assist with hearings, court applications, and civil claims where required.
• Draft documentation and conduct legal research to support cases.
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows and coordination.
