Job summary

A panel wirer role based in Leeds is available through Aqumen Recruitment. You will join a specialist in designing and manufacturing electrical control panels, wiring low‑voltage panels and following schematic diagrams to exacting standards.

The role offers 40 hours per week with an early finish on Fridays and a pay rate up to £14.50 per hour. We are seeking candidates with proven LV panel wiring experience, ability to work independently, and a track record of maintaining production records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and wiring low-voltage control panels.
• Able to independently wire panels using schematic wiring diagrams.
• Competence in sizing, cutting and crimping cables to standards.
• Ability to identify and resolve production issues.
• Experience maintaining accurate production records.

Vacancy – Panel Wirer

Location – Leeds

Hours – 40 hours per week (early finish Friday)

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Proven experience in building and wiring low-voltage electrical control panels
• Ability to independently wire control panels using schematic wiring diagrams
• Competence in accurately sizing, cutting, and crimping cables to agreed standards
• Ability to identify and resolve production issues effectively
• Experience maintaining accurate production records

Desirable:

• Experience carrying out point-to-point testing
• Experience with on-site modification and repair of control panels
• ECS or CSCS card
