Job summary

Permanent Futures Limited is seeking an experienced Panel Wirer to join its production team in a clean, modern manufacturing environment.

You will read drawings and schematics, wire and assemble electrical control panels, install cables and components, test finished panels and support colleagues to meet project deadlines with quality and safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Previous Panel Wirer or Electrical Fitter experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Experience wiring industrial control panels.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
• Wire and assemble electrical control panels from start to finish.
• Install and terminate cables, relays, contactors, circuit breakers and other components.
• Carry out point-to-point wiring.
• Test completed panels and assist with fault finding where required.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and health & safety.

As a Panel Wirer, you'll be responsible for building and wiring electrical control panels from engineering drawings and schematics, ensuring every panel is assembled to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layout drawings.
• Wiring and assembling electrical control panels from start to finish.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Panel Wirer, Electrical Fitter or Electrical Assembly Technician.
• The ability to confidently read and work from electrical drawings and wiring schematics (essential).
• Experience wiring industrial control panels.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
