Job summary

Aqumen Business Solutions is seeking a skilled Panel Wirer to join our Leeds manufacturing team. You will build and wire low-voltage control panels, following schematic diagrams, sizing, cutting and crimping cables to exact standards and maintaining accurate production records.

The role requires independence, high-quality workmanship, and the ability to meet deadlines. Previous experience with panel modification on-site and an ECS/CSCS card are desirable attributes for candidates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building and wiring low-voltage electrical control panels.
• Ability to independently wire control panels using schematic wiring diagrams.
• Competence in sizing, cutting and crimping cables to standards.
• Identify and resolve production issues effectively.
• Maintain accurate production records.

Vacancy - Panel Wirer

Location - Leeds

Hours - 40 hours per week (early finish Friday)

Salary - up to £14.50ph

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Proven experience in building and wiring low-voltage electrical control panels
• Ability to independently wire control panels using schematic wiring diagrams
• Competence in accurately sizing, cutting, and crimping cables to agreed standards
• Ability to identify and resolve production issues effectively
• Experience maintaining accurate production records

Desirable:

• Experience carrying out point-to-point testing
• Experience with on-site modification and repair of control panels
• ECS or CSCS card
