Job summary

The Right Hire Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly Fitter for a heavy manufacturing environment. The role offers a competitive salary, a four-day working week and excellent employee benefits.

Responsibilities include assembling, wiring and testing electromechanical components, building and testing control panels, and fault-finding. Candidates must have NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and copies of certificates, with experience in heavy industry and ability to read

The Right Hire Recruitment is looking for an experienced Electrical Assembly Fitter to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled electrician seeking a competitive salary, a four-day working week and excellent employee benefits.

What's on offer?

• Salary: £33,000-£38,000 per annum
• They would work Mon - Thurs
  Days (7.00am - 4.30pm) or Rotating Shifts (7.00am - 4.30pm/4.30pm-1.30am)
• Overtime available at enhanced rate
• Rates are
  
  • Days £18.05
  • Mornings £19.13
  • Afternoons £22.56

The Role

• Assembling, connecting and testing electromechanical components.
• Building, wiring and testing electrical control panels.
• Installing electrical panels and wiring, and testing electromechanical wire-rope hoists.
• Carrying out electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting when required.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and electrical work instructions.
• Ensuring all work meets the required engineering specifications, tolerances and quality standards.

What we're looking for

• Time-served electrician qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. YOU MUST HAVE COPIES OF CERTS FOR THIS ROLE
• Previous experience working as an electrician within a heavy manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with three-phase electrical systems and control panels.
• Knowledge of frequency inverters and PLCs.
