The Right Hire Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrician for a heavy manufacturing environment. You will assemble, test and wire electromechanical components and control panels.

You will read engineering drawings and schematics, fault-find and troubleshoot, with three-phase systems and PLCs knowledge. The role offers a four-day working week, day shifts and a competitive salary.

Qualifikationen

• Time-served electrician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with three-phase systems and control panels.
• Knowledge of frequency inverters and PLCs.

Aufgaben

• Assembling, connecting and testing electromechanical components.
• Building, wiring and testing electrical control panels.
• Installing electrical panels and wiring, and testing electromechanical wire-rope hoists.
• Carrying out electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting when required.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and electrical work instructions.
• Ensuring all work meets the required engineering specifications, tolerances and quality standards.

• Salary: £33,000-£38,000 per annum
• 4-day working week - Monday to Thursday
• Day shifts: 7:30am-4:30pm

The Role

As an Electrician, your responsibilities will include:

• Assembling, connecting and testing electromechanical components.
• Building, wiring and testing electrical control panels.
• Installing electrical panels and wiring, and testing electromechanical wire-rope hoists.
• Carrying out electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting when required.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and electrical work instructions.
• Ensuring all work meets the required engineering specifications, tolerances and quality standards.

What we're looking for

• Time-served electrician qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. YOU MUST HAVE COPIES OF CERTS FOR THIS ROLE
• Previous experience working as an electrician within a heavy manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with three-phase electrical systems and control panels.
• Knowledge of frequency inverters and PLCs.
