Job summary

Advanced Recruit is seeking an experienced panel wirer for a leading manufacturer delivering Electrical distribution and Control Panel Solutions across the UK. You will fit electrical control panels, cut and assemble cables, and wire looms on a fast-paced shop floor.

The role requires some electrical knowledge, teamwork, and the ability to read schematic drawings. Starting rate is £13–£14 per hour with overtime available; contract runs for 12 weeks with potential perm consideration.

• Background in panel wiring preferred
• Able to work well within a team
• Good communicator and able to manage own workload

Responsibilities

• Fitting electrical control panels
• Cutting and assembling cables, building looms and harness wiring
• Working with single and three phase systems
• Using hand and air tools on a fast paced shop floor
• Dealing with high and low volume wiring assemblies
• Installing large electrical control cabinets
• Minor soldering and fault finding

Requirements:

• Some Electrical knowledge is essential preferred background in Panel wiring industry.
• Able to work well within a team
• Great communicator.
• Able to manage own workload.

Duties Include:

• Fitting electrical control panels
• Cutting various size cables, Assembling, crimping, stripping and cutting cable wires and building looms/harness wiring
• Working with single and three phase.
• Using Hand and air tools
• Working on fast paced Shop floor manufacturing environment.
• Dealing with high and low volume wiring assemblies
• Installations of large electrical control cabinets.
• Minor Soldering
• Fault finding and repair
• Little amount of producing looms
• Working to schematic drawings

The Package

• 12 week temp to perm contract
• Working days Monday to Thursday 7:30 till 4:30, early finsh on Friday
• Starting rate is between £13 - £14 depending on experience.
• Overtime available
