Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd. is seeking a Panel Wireperson to join their production team in a contract role. The position offers 37.5 hours per week, a 4.5-day working pattern with flexible start/finish times and overtime opportunities. Salary ranges from £15 to £20 per hour DOE.

Responsibilities include wiring electrical panels, assembling components, reading schematics and on-site installation. Minimum Level 2 Electrical Diploma required, with clear progression and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring or similar.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings.
• Strong crimping, wiring and cable preparation skills.
• Minimum of Level 2 Electrical Diploma (or equivalent).
• Competent in testing, installation and on-site assembly.

• Assembly of copperwork, cabling and electrical components
• Electrical panel wiring and general control panel build
• Cabinet/box building and mounting plate assembly
• Direct-to-panel wiring, point-to-point connections and terminations
• Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics
• Assisting in basic testing and inspection
• Installation and on-site assembly of equipment
