HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Panel Technician to join a busy accident repair centre in Harrogate. You will carry out structural and non-structural body repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles, repair and replace damaged panels, and work with Paint/MET teams to ensure high-quality workmanship.

The role offers up to £24 per hour with an uncapped bonus, 23 days annual leave, life assurance, pension and an employee vehicle leasing scheme, plus health and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experience as Panel Technician or Panel Beater in an accident repair environment.
• Strong knowledge of panel repair and bodywork.
• ATA/NVQ/IMI qualifications would be advantageous.

Panel Technician / Panel Beater

Location: Harrogate

Rate: Up to £24 per hour + uncapped bonus

Our client is looking for an experienced Panel Technician to join their busy accident repair centre in Harrogate. The workshop completes over 200 repairs each month, offering a consistent workload and the opportunity to work alongside an established team of skilled technicians.

You’ll be joining a supportive workshop environment, with dedicated office staff handling customer-facing responsibilities so you can concentrate on carrying out quality repairs. The work includes insurance repairs and commercial LCV fleet vehicles, providing a good variety of vehicles and repair work.

The Role

• Carry out structural and non-structural vehicle body repairs.
• Repair and replace damaged vehicle panels.
• Strip and refit vehicle components where required.
• Assess damage and identify the appropriate repair methods.
• Work on a variety of cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Ensure repairs are completed to a high standard and within required timescales.
• Work closely with Paint and MET Technicians.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Panel Technician, Panel Beater or Vehicle Body Repair Technician.
• Strong knowledge of panel repair, replacement and vehicle bodywork.
• Experience working within an accident repair centre or bodyshop.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• ATA, NVQ or IMI qualifications would be advantageous.
