Salary: Up to £44,000 OTE (including basic up to £38,000 plus uncapped bonus)

Lookers Chester Bodyshop is recruiting an experienced Panel Beater to join our Service team. Working within a state-of-the-art bodyshop, you will repair damaged vehicle panels according to manufacturer’s specifications, led by our excellent management team.

You will receive training and guidance from industry experts while working alongside a talented team of Bodyshop technicians.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in accident/cosmetic repairs, offering a great opportunity to develop your skills in Cosmetic repair. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service and have ambitious growth plans. At Lookers, we want you to be part of our success.

Responsibilities

• Removing damaged panels and repairing chassis and panels
• Maintaining work logs and informing estimators of additional work needed
• Ensuring high-quality standards in body metal preparation, repairs, and replacements
• Providing detailed reports on work methodology to auditors, seeking clarification when necessary
• Building trust-based relationships with customers and the company

Qualifications

Applicants should have previous experience in a similar role and have completed a Panel technician modern apprenticeship or equivalent. A good working knowledge of automotive systems and repair materials is required.

You must be honest, diligent, and able to meet deadlines without compromising quality. A full UK driving license is essential.
