Job summary

Prime Appointments is seeking a skilled Control Panel Wire Person / Panel Builder for a permanent role in Witham, Essex. You will build and wire electrical control panels from engineering drawings and assemble relay panels and equipment racks.

Based in a manufacturing environment, you will use hand tools, read drawings, and work to quality and safety standards. Training and career development are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Experience using hand tools within a manufacturing/engineering environment.
• Control panel wiring or electrical assembly experience is beneficial.
• Ability to lift and move heavy components safely.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire electrical control panels from engineering drawings.
• Assemble and wire control panels, relay panels and equipment racks.
• Install wiring looms, cable assemblies and relays.
• Carry out mechanical fitting using hand and power tools; ensure quality and safety standards.
• Work with production team to meet manufacturing deadlines.
