Job summary

Global Recruitment Services Ltd in Burton on Trent is seeking an experienced Panel Wirer to join a leading manufacturer on a temp-to-perm basis. You will build and wire control panels, read drawings, and assemble frames and sub-assemblies.

We welcome candidates with a proven wiring background, good schematic knowledge, and familiarity with hand tools and crimps. Excellent prospects for permanent employment with a rapidly expanding global firm.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Panel Wirer or similar role.
• Proven track record in wiring panels for machine tools (advantageous).
• Good understanding of schematic diagrams.
• Knowledge of hand tools; experience with crimps is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work on the build of new equipment and control panels.
• Read and work from drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Perform electrical wiring and assembly, including control panels, sub‑assemblies, frames and smaller component installation.
• Use a wide range of hand tools such as crimps.
