Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking an experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician for a full-time, permanent role in Kilmarnock. The position offers a Monday-Friday pattern with a 40-hour week, delivering reliable automotive body repair expertise in a professional workshop.

You will carry out structural and non-structural repairs, reshape and replace panels, and ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician.
• Proven experience within an automotive Bodyshop environment.
• Strong vehicle body repair and panel repair skills.
• Good understanding of modern vehicle repair methods.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural and non-structural vehicle body repairs.
• Repair, reshape and replace damaged body panels.
• Strip and fit vehicle components as required.
• Assess vehicle damage and select appropriate repair methods.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Work to agreed repair timescales and safety standards.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
