Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is looking for a skilled Panel Beater to join our Heywood workshop. You will perform vehicle body repairs, restoring damaged vehicles to structural and cosmetic standards.

The role requires an apprenticeship or Level 3 Vehicle Body Repair qualification and prior experience as a Panel Beater or similar. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a competitive salary and clear career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ / IMI / SVQ / ATA).
• Experience as Panel Beater / Panel Technician or Vehicle Body Repair Technician.
• Ability to repair and replace damaged panels and body components accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and identify required repairs.
• Repair/replace damaged body panels and components.
• Use appropriate tools to reshape, align and repair panels.
• Carry out structural and non-structural body repairs per procedures.
• Ensure panel gaps, alignment and fit meet standards.
• Work efficiently while maintaining high workmanship.
• Follow health and safety procedures and keep workspace clean and organized.
