Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Panel Beater in Scunthorpe on a permanent basis. The role offers up to £24 per hour with an uncapped bonus and Monday to Friday working hours in a busy Bodyshop group.

You will work with body alignment jigs, perform panel straightening and repairs, replace panels and carry out structural work. A strong background in accident repair and time served qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must be time served and/or qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3.
• ATA qualification advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in accident repair and working in a busy Bodyshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate body alignment jigs and perform panel straightening and repairs.
• Carry out panel replacement and structural repairs.
• Welding and bonding of vehicle structures.
• Remove and replace complete body shells where required.
• Accurately identify and list parts required for repairs.
• Ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role

As a Panel Beater, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating body alignment jigs
• Carrying out panel straightening and repairs
• Panel replacement and structural repairs
• Welding and bonding vehicle structures
• Removing and replacing complete body shells where required
• Accurately identifying and listing parts required for repairs
• Ensuring all repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Working safely and following manufacturer repair methods and procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Experienced Panel Beater with a strong background in accident repair
• Time served and/or qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3
• ATA qualification advantageous but not essential
• Able to work efficiently in a busy Bodyshop environment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your repairs
• A professional approach with a focus on safety and high-quality workmanship
