Job description

Are you looking for a full-time immediate position? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our friendly team as a Pallet Repairer in Sywell, Northampton, NN6 0BN.

Recruitment Open Day

On 4th of June from 11 am until 2 pm.

Pay Rate as a Full-Time Pallet Repairer

• 12-hour shift: 4 ON 4 OFF, £13.52 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £14.06 per hour after 12 weeks.
• Overtime rate: £16.06 per hour.
• Plus 30% bonus for attendance and performance.

Your Role as a Pallet Repairer

• Restoring damaged LPR pallets to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Manual pallet sorting and restoration, including working with power tools.
• Automated pallet sorting using specialized equipment to reduce manual handling.
• Operating MHE inside the warehouse, including feeding machinery, repair benches, and manual sort lines, as well as placing OK pallets in the correct yard locations.
• Loading and unloading pallets from trailers.
• Achieving production deadlines and targets.
• This role involves physical work and heavy lifting.

Typical Working Hours

• 2/4 days (07:00 - 19:00) and 2/4 nights (19:00 - 07:00), totaling 2 days and 2 nights per week.
