Job summary

Direct Recruitment (Midlands) Ltd is seeking a reliable Pallet Repairer to join a busy warehouse and yard team in Stone, Staffordshire. You will inspect, repair and maintain wooden pallets to ensure they are safe for continued use.

The role operates Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30, at £13.00 per hour. You will work hands-on with hand and power tools, follow health and safety procedures, and support general yard duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous pallet repair, woodworking or manual labour experience would be advantageous.
• Confident using hand and power tools.
• Physically fit, as the role involves regular manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Inspect wooden pallets for damage and determine repair needs.
• Repair or replace broken boards and damaged pallets.
• Use nail guns and other tools safely to complete repairs.
• Maintain a tidy work area and follow health and safety procedures.
