Job summary

First Call Contract Services in the United Kingdom is seeking hardworking Pallet Operatives/Pallet Repairers for a 6AM to 2PM shift. The role involves inspecting, repairing and maintaining wooden pallets to meet required quality and safety standards.

Full training will be provided, so prior pallet experience is not essential. You will be tasked with repairing damaged boards, sorting pallets and ensuring a clean, safe work area while working as part of a team.

We are looking for hardworking and reliable Pallet Operatives/Pallet Repairers to join the team.

Shift: 6AM to 2PM

The role involves inspecting, repairing and maintaining wooden pallets to ensure they meet the required quality and safety standards. Full training will be provided, so previous experience is not essential.

Key responsibilities: maintain and repair wooden pallets, inspect pallets for damage and carry out quality checks, repair and replace damaged pallet boards and components, ensure repaired pallets meet the required quality standards, sort and organise pallets within the work area, follow all company health and safety procedures, keep the working area clean tidy and safe, work efficiently as part of a team.

Working Environment: this is a physically demanding role, you will be working on your feet throughout the shift, the role involves lifting and carrying pallets, you will be required to handle pallets safely and efficiently.
